Ahead of his Saturday title bout, Francis Ngannou talked about not just his fight, but his future and his home country with a fellow African.

Ngannou, from Cameroon, was a guest on Thursdayโ€™s edition of โ€œThe Daily Showโ€ with host Trevor Noah, who is from South Africa.

Ngannou and Noah compared their shared experiences as natives of Africa who now live in the U.S. They also talked about the heavyweight title fight champ Ngannou (16-3 MMA, 11-2 UFC) has against former training partner Ciryl Gane (10-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC) at UFC 270 on Saturday in Anaheim, Calif., as well as his ambitions to raise the bar on fighter pay not just for himself, but for other fighters.
