LAS VEGAS – Viacheslav Borshchev beat Dakota Bush with a first-round TKO Saturday on the main card at UFC on ESPN 32 in Las Vegas.

Take a look inside the fight with Borshchev, who picked up a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus – and got the UFC’s first stoppage win of 2022.

“He was patient and a little smarter and faster than I expected. I thought he was going to push me more using his wrestling, but he used his striking. It wasn’t that wild. It seems like he improved himself since his last fight.”

Borshchev on not having Urijah Faber in his corner

“For me, the hardest part was the situation with Urijah. He had a COVID test that was positive, and then was negative on the second test. When he arrived to Vegas, he was positive again. That was super stressful. We actually expected Urijah in my corner. I’m an MMA fighter already – I have enough experience to get a win. But I feel like I need Urijah in my corner.”

Borshchev on what he wants next

“I’m going to listen to my coaches. The last two years was extremely stressful for me. Today is the first time I can finally slow down. I don’t want to rush on my decision. I want to listen to my coaches.”
